March marks the centennial anniversary of the birth of Tennessee-born stringband fiddler Howard “Louie Bluie” Armstrong. To celebrate the late legend, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, in partnership with NPT and P.O.V. will present a screening of SWEET OLD SONG, the 2001 documentary that follows Armstrong interacting with his two great loves: his music and his wife, artist Barbara Ward Armstrong. Mark your calendars and plan on joining us for the hour-long film in the Ford Theatre at the Museum, on Sunday, March 22 at 2:00 p.m. Admission is free.
