What a fiasco!

Thanks for the re-showing of the missing Poldark episode (the ONE chance on the 27th at 11:00pm!!). And the Hamilton’s America.

How about a re-showing of the missing Indian Summer episode from Oct. 16???

I’ve always said, we all make mistakes; it’s how we correct those mistakes that counts – please try. My very tech-savvy daughter said, “…they should have known that antenna viewers are not the blog-reader type”.

You have the e-mail addresses of members, and us sustaining members (!), when its time to ask for money. How hard could it be to email us when NPT will not be available to the “cord-cutters”? These shows are a big part of why we are long time members… and send money; give us some respect.

To MiChelle Jones and WNPT: I appreciate that you responded to comments about the recent outage. I know it was hard. People were angry and disappointed. It would have been really easy to ignore all of the comments, but you didn’t and I commend you for it. I don’t recall this ever happening before, but if you have to do this again, I hope you’ll learn from this experience. I shared the information I had learned on my neighborhood Facebook page. Many of them had no idea of why they weren’t getting the channel and just assumed it was their antenna. Which is what I initially assumed. Please remember, not everyone goes to your website or other social media outlets. We simply turn on the TV for your great programs:)

BTW, thank you for live streaming the Hamilton documentary!!

Many lessons learned, Tammi–and it has been great hearing how much NPT means to our viewers. BTW, thanks for helping to spread the word. (Meanwhile, if you enjoyed Hamilton’s America, note that we’re re-airing it Thursday at 8 p.m.!)

Still trying to understand the antenna farm picture you have heading this thread. It is definitely NOT the Channel 2/8 site.

I missed the original Downton Abby broadcasting because I was working on my MBA. That is finished and I had gotten hooked on the series. Unfortunately while the station was down I missed two episodes (the Cricket match and the Scottish lodge). I cannot find those episodes on the NPR directory – it doesn’t go back that far. Is there other way that I can view those two shows? My local library doesn’t have the series.
Thank you.

Good news: Take some time off in December and enjoy our Downton Abbey marathon coming over the Christmas holidays when we’ll show the entire series from the very first episode through the Season 6 finale.

WoopWoop! So happy WNPT is broadcasting over the air again. Glad you finally got the tower maintenance done. WNPT is such a great station it was sorely missed. Thanks!

I was receiving 8 by antenna after the repairs but have not been able to pick up the signal for at least since Wednesday. Any idea why I’m not getting the signal in Goodlettsville anymore?

Hi,Suzanne: Here are a few things to try. Check all your connections. Make sure your antenna is facing the direction of our tower in Brentwood. Finally, if you’ve rescanned in search of NPT, you may need to scan again in case we were off-air at the time of your previous attempt. I hope that helps. If not, let us know.
