‘We ♥️ Public Television’ airs Nov. 27 w/performances recorded at WNPT

We ♥️ Public Television, a three-hour telethon celebrating 55 years of public television, airs 7 p.m. Thanksgiving. and includes segments recorded in WNPT’s studios. The show will be available for streaming on the PBS app Nov. 27 through Dec. 24, 2025.

This program celebrates the extraordinary musical artists and personalities who have graced PBS stages and screens, showcasing the cultural richness that public media and local PBS stations offer all Americans.

Three special performances by Kathy Mattea, Sierra Hull, and Molly Tuttle and Ketch Secor were recorded at Nashville PBS on the Tennessee Crossroads set. Secor was named host of the long-running series earlier this year.

The bulk of We ♥️ Public Television was recorded live from PBS SoCal’s Burbank Studios featuring (subject to change) music director Rickey Minor and appearances by Josh Groban, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ken Burns, Ziggy Marley, Lily Tomlin, Henry Louis Gates, Jr., Marlee Matlin, Noel Paul Stookey, Rick Steves, David Foster and Katharine McPhee, Joe Bonamassa, Sheléa, Jesse Cook, Judy Blume, Celtic Woman, Sarah Silverman, Mychal the Librarian, Martha Plimpton, Lindsey Sterling and many more.
