Floral expert J. Schwanke, host of the Life in Bloom public television show, returns to NPT Saturday, Sept. 23, for a special event in Studio A (161 Rains Ave., Nashville TN 37203). Join us for brunch followed by a workshop on incorporating flowers into your life, whether by arranging bouquets, serving edible flowers and floral cocktails, or and making floral crafts.
The event begins at 11 a.m. with a brunch catered by Bacon & Caviar, followed by the main workshop, which concludes at 1 p.m. A special 25-person VIP event begins at 1:30 p.m. Participants in this later event will have the opportunity to take photos with Schwanke and to receive one-on-one instruction in making a floral fascinator.
Tickets are available at flowers-npt.eventbrite.com and are $80 per person; $200 for the VIP experience. All materials are provided at each price level.
Fourth-generation florist and a floral expert J Schwanke is a sought-after public speaker who was in fact born at a flower show(!). In addition to hosting his public television show, he travels the country giving flower demonstrations and runs uBloom.com, a website dedicated to flowers and flower arranging.
