NPT’s At Home Learning & TDOE’s Teaching Tennessee

NPT’s At Home Learning educational programming block now includes two hours of instructional programming from the Tennessee Department of Education. TDOE’s lesson air each weekday from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by two hours of PBS and NPT original programming selected with middle and high school students in mind. At Home Learning and Teaching Tennessee lesson information will be available to view or download on our schedule page each week at wnpt.org/schedule.

PLEASE NOTE: You will not be able to stream the lessons online, via Roku, or via the PBS App. (You may stream them if you watch NPT with a YouTube TV subscription.)

However, TDOE will post their lessons on the department’s YouTube channel sometime after they air at youtube.com/user/TNDeptofEducation.

Many of the PBS and NPT programs in the noon to 2 p.m. slots are available at video.wnpt.org.

Thank you for providing wonderful programming for students at home. I have one request, Mr. Carruth’s 6th grade math class is excellent, but we just need you to zoom in on the problems that he has students work on because we cannot read the print. I love his pace and that he steps away to allow students time for students practice problems independently. However, when he steps out of the way, please zoom in or ask Mr. Carruth to print the problems in a larger font so we can read the problems.
