NPT invites the public to participate in a town-hall discussion about the prevalence of violence and its impact on youth. Youth & Violence: NPT Reports Town Hall and taping takes place Thursday, Sept. 6, in NPT’s Studio A (161 Rains Ave. Nashville 37203). The taping begins promptly at 6:30 p.m.; doors open for a reception at 6 p.m. This event is FREE, but RSVPs are required at youth-npt.eventbrite.com.
Young people, experts and community leaders and other members of the Middle Tennessee community are expected to take part in this conversation about what is being done to address the public health crisis emerging around youth and violence. NPT producer LaTonya Turner will moderate the discussion.
