NPT’s free Indie Lens Pop-Up documentary screenings continue Thursday, April 19, with Look & See: Wendell Berry’s Kentucky at Watkins College of Art (2298 Rosa L. Parks Blvd., Nashville, 37228) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event is free, but RSVPs are requested at wendell-npt.eventbrite.com. Seating will be first come, first served.

A panel discussion follows the screening and features Brooks Lamb, conservation manager at The Land Trust for Tennessee; Sylvia Ganier of Green Door Gourmet; and Keith Meador, director of Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Center of Biomedical Ethics and Society.

Look & See, a film by Laura Dunn, is a portrait of the changing landscapes and shifting values of rural America in the era of industrial agriculture, as seen through the mind’s eye of award-winning writer and farmer Wendell Berry, back home in his native Henry County, Kentucky. Berry is a poet, novelist, longtime environmental activist and former contributing editor to New Farm Magazine and Organic Gardening and Farming.
