Moody Blues at Albert Hall / Meet and Greet at TPAC

Viewers tuning in on Sunday, December 13 at 8:30 p.m. CT for our just-announced, special membership drive broadcast of THE MOODY BLUES AT THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL have the opportunity to receive meet and greet passes for the Moody Blues March 18, 2010 show at TPAC. The ticket and meet & greet package is exclusive to NPT viewers who pledge their support during the broadcast, so be sure to tune in to take advantage of this special opportunity.

In THE MOODY BLUES AT THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL, taped live in 2000, the Moody Blues partnered with Musical Director Larry Baird, conductor of the World Festival Orchestra, to perform many of its classic hits, such as “Nights in White Satin,” “The Story in Your Eyes” — for the record, this NPT Media Update blog writer’s favorite Moody Blues song — and “Tuesday Afternoon,” along with a few songs from its first new album since 1991, Strange Times.
