Next week marks the 40th Anniversary of Sesame Street. As NPT’s Erin McInnis points out, that’s two generations, at least! There’s no understating the educational and cultural impact of the show over the years, and to prove the latter point, I guarantee that you saw at least one Sesame Street costume this past Halloween, and not necessarily on children.
