To mark the passing of Sen. Edward Kennedy, NPT will be rebroadcasting AMERICAN EXPERIENCE’s “The Kennedys” tonight, August 26, 2009, from 7:00-10:00 p.m. We will pre-empt all of the currently scheduled prime time programming on our main NPT channel for this special program. We will move the regularly scheduled GREAT PERFORMANCES “Harlem in Montmarte,” WE ALSO DANCE and WIDE ANGLE “Once Upon a Coup” to NPT2 (Comcast 241, Charter 176, over-the-air channel 8.2), pre-empting the regularly scheduled cooking shows. AMERICAN EXPERIENCE “Harlem in Montmarte” will also replace the daytime repeats on NPT2 for Friday morning, August 28, 2009 and Monday afternoon, August 31, 2009.
If you’re willing to stay up late or have a DVR or TIVO, GREAT PERFORMANCES “Harlem in Montmartre” WILL air on NPT later tonight/early tomorrow (Thursday 8/27) at midnight, Friday, 8/27 (late Thursday night) at 2 a.m. and on Monday, 8/31 (late Sunday night) at 2:00 a.m. WIDE ANGLE “Once Upon a Coup” can be seen on NPT on 8/27 at 3:00 a.m. and on 8/30 at 1:00 a.m.
