In our tireless efforts to make sure you know what’s going on here at Nashville Public Television, both on and off the air, we’re excited to announce the launch of the NPT This Week (Audio Edition) podcast. Each week, program manager Justin Harvey and I (Joe Pagetta, media relations manager) will take about fifteen minutes to run down and discuss the broadcast highlights for the upcoming NPT primetime schedule. It’ll be loose and casual, informative and tangential. You’ll find out what’s on, and a little behind what’s on. We’ll even include a song snippet from an artist appearing on our air that week. It’ll be accessible here on the blog, and very soon, on iTunes.
In our first crack at it, we talk about the new Mystery! series, Wallander; the upcoming Frontline special on the Bernie Madoff affair; Crips and Bloods: Made in America, Michelangelo; my Kenny Loggins advocacy and Justin’s extensive knowledge of actress Cynthia Rhodes’ career.
Next week, I plan on using a better microphone and knowing more than Justin.
