NPT Joins Broadcast Community in Mourning the Passing of Dan Miller

On behalf of Nashville Public Television, and together with the entire Middle Tennessee broadcast television community, I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the family, friends and co-workers of esteemed WSMV anchor Dan Miller, who died yesterday in his hometown of Augusta, Georgia at the age of 67.

I have the greatest respect for Dan, and the warmth and sincerity he brought to the news desk each day. He provided a smile, charm and calm voice, but never failed to stress the gravity of a situation when needed. For many, he was the face of Nashville. He will be sorely missed.
