Tuesday night, October 7 at 7:00 p.m., prior to our broadcast of the Town Hall Debate from Belmont University, we’ll be broadcasting THE SOUTH AND THE PRESIDENT, a round table discussion on the role the South has played in the presidential election. The program, taped this morning in Studio A, is moderated by John Seigenthaler with guests Gov. Winfied Dunn, former Tennessee Governor; Rep. Harold Ford Jr., former U.S. Congressman for Tennessee; and Professor Erwin Hargrove, author of several books on the presidency, including The Effective Presidency: Lessons on Leadership from John F. Kennedy to George W. Bush and The President as Leader.
