Canine H20 Immersion and an Exclusive Outtake

How’s that for a convoluted title? Let me be clear here. This is no mere doggy dip. It’s a Pooch Plunge! Let your dog go swimming, or even go swimming with your dog, and support Nashville Public Television in the process. It’s the NPT Pooch Plunge on Saturday, September 27, 2008 from 8:00am (1st dip) to 1:00pm (last dip) at Nashville Shores (4001 Bell Road, Hermitage, TN 37076). There’s $20 Entry Fee any variation of a family of 4 (2 dogs 2 humans, 1 dog 3 humans, etc…)

Pooch Plunge is a community/family/dog event of swimming, look-a-like contests, dog costume contests, entertainment, awards, and much more. Pooch Plunge is a day where ALL DOGS ARE ALLOWED. Dog lovers and their dogs can unite, belly-flop and doggie-paddle together, and work on that backstroke or butterfly together. The best part is that walk-ins are welcome!

Look for promos to start running on our air with two of the most adorable bichons you’ve ever seen. Getting the bichons in character, however, took several takes. They were having a hard time finding their voices. In the final take, they had relaxed and were being themselves. But in this exclusive audio outtake smuggled out of the studio, it’s clear they were a little nervous. You heard it here first!

I want to bring my boys, but we cannot stay the whole time. We’d like info on what time the costume contest is. I can’t find any information, and the listed contact didn’t email me back.
