R.E.M. will make its first-ever appearance on the acclaimed long-running PBS show AUSTIN CITY LIMITS, which airs Saturday nights at 10:00 CT on NPT. The concert taping will take place on March 13 during this year’s annual SXSW Music Conference. It will also be the first taping of the 34th season of AUSTIN CITY LIMITS, which will air on PBS stations nationwide later this year.
R.E.M.’s latest, Accelerate, is due April 1 on Warner Bros. Records.
