The Tennessean reports this morning that Tavis Smiley, host of The Tavis Smiley Show, will speak at Tennessee State University on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. as part of his Talented Tenth Tour. Tavis’ event is free to the public. To register, go to www.tavistalks.com.
The Tavis Smiley Show can be seen NPT-Channel 8 on Sunday nights at 11:00 p.m. Smiley also hosted the PBS Presidential Forums in September.

My comment is an observation that Mr Smiley is more narcissistic in his needs and interested in extracting agreement with his views than with providing a platform for his guests their ideas.
