"THE RISE OF THE SOUTHERN BISCUIT" WINS THREE TELLYS

THE RISE OF THE SOUTHERN BISCUIT, produced by Byrdword Productions and presented by Nashville Public Television, has been awarded three Telly Awards. It won Silver Tellys for “Best Cultural Program” and “Best Use of Music in a Program” and a Bronze Telly for “Best Documentary.”

Congrats to producer Maryann Byrd.

Since 1978, the Telly Awards have been honoring the very best local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions.

Earlier this year, THE RISE OF THE SOUTHERN BISCUIT took home the Emmys for Best Cultural Documentary and Best Documentary Writer when the Mid-South Regional Emmy Awards, presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, were awarded at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
