PBS executives, in a rare instance of listening to TV critics, have pushed back the start date of Ken Burns’ 14-hour documentary on World War II. Critics worried about the conflict viewers might face if the documentary debuted on the night of the Primetime Emmy Awards and carried over into the “premiere week” for the commercial networks. Good call?
