COCOA'S THE NEW COFFEE PART 2; Strayhorn and Bailey

Yesterday, we wrote about the chocolate shop explosion in Franklin, and pointed out that Tennessee Crossroads profiled The Cocoa Tree in December. I was soon made aware that Crossroads had profiled XOCONOCHCO as well. Back in November, Crossroads segment host Susan Watson visited with Julie Hinton when she was still making her chocolates in her Franklin home.

Now that I’ve cleared that up, another reminder about the Independent Lens’ show “Billy Strayhorn: Lush Life”, called “exceptional” by Ron Wynn in the Nashville City Paper, on NPT-Channel 8 tonight at 8:00 followed by the NPT original production “Deford Bailey: A Legend Lost” at 9:30.
