Ken Burns recently gave TV Guide editors a sneak peak of his new masterpiece, The War, a seven-part, 14 1/2-hour World War II documentary drawn from the experiences of ordinary people who either served in Europe or the Pacific or who lived through it at home.
Matt Roush, on his TV Guide blog “The Roush Review” writes, “from what little Burns was able to show us, The War promises to be an unforgettable experience.”
The War debuts on PBS Stations nationwide, including NPT-Channel 8 in Nashville on September 16.
