Quite a few people have asked me about this. Apparently, word of this spot has been getting around town, but because it often airs late around our weekly music programming, not many people have had a chance to see it yet. Fortunately, it’s up on YouTube now for everyone to enjoy.
It’s local musician Michael Webb, in what has clearly become the most popular of the three “Give the Gift of NPT Membership” promo spots that he has starred in for us. Produced by NPT’s own Brian O’Neill, a multiple Emmy-award winner, this one takes us inside the mind (and home) of Webb as he reaps the rewards — when armed with an NPT membership — of a lifelong love of NPT, Lawrence Welk and Myron Floren. Webb’s been everywhere and played with most everyone, and most recently toured with Gary Allan and The Wreckers. That’s him actually playing along with the TV. Enjoy!
