Nobel Peace Prize winner and former Vice-President Al Gore received a second Quill award yesterday at the third annual Quill Awards. Gore’s The Assault on Reason won the Quill award for the history/current affairs/politics category — the same award he won in 2006 for his book An Inconvenient Truth.
Book of the Year went to Angels Fall by Nora Roberts. Journalist, war correspondent and bestselling author David Halberstam, a dear friend of John Seigenthaler, was posthumously awarded the Platinum Quill.
