INSTRUMENTHEAD, currently on display at the Parthenon museum, features over 20 portraits of Nashville based artists. The concept began when photographer, Michael Weintrob suggested the musicians put their instruments in front of their faces, “just to spice things up and get creative.” The response was overwhelmingly positive, and “sparked an unprecedented art project.”
