Like `Next Door Neighbors` on the Stage | TWTP`s `Voices of Nashville` Runs October 4-20

Next Door Neighbors

Voices of Nashville

Next Door Neighbors was an inspiration for us,” said Christine Mather and Sara Sharpe, playwrights of Voices of Nashville, during an NPT Reports interview with NPT’s LaTonya Turner.  “To be able to have that trove, where we could hear voices outside of our own comfort zone.”

That our Next Door Neighbors project would have that much of an impact is an honor for us.  As part of our commitment to the project and  now-revitalized Next Door Neighbors: Storytellers project, it makes us even prouder to partner with Tennessee Women’s Theater Project on its production of Voices of Nashville, which runs Friday October 4 to Sunday, October 20 at the Looby Theater on Rosa Parks Blvd. Commissioned by TWTP and written by Christine Mather, Voices of Nashville explores the experience of immigrants in our region through the eyes of these new Americans.
