NPT Productions Score Seven Regional Emmy Nominations

Beautiful Tennessee: Parks & PreservationWe’re proud to announce that Nashville Public Television productions picked up seven Midsouth Regional Emmy Award nominations when the Nashville/Midsouth Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) announced the nominations last night at the BMI headquarters on Music Row.

Our NPT REPORTS: CHILDREN’S HEALTH CRISIS series picked up nominations for both the OVERVIEW and INFANT MORTALITY episodes, as did the promo campaign for the series. BEAUTIFUL TENNESSEE: PARKS & PRESERVATION snagged two nominations, in the Documentary/Historical category, and Music Composer/Arranger category. NEXT DOOR NEIGHBORS: BHUTANESE also got a Music Composer/Arranger category nomination. Hugh Brian O’Neill picked up a nomination for Writer/Short Form.

A complete list of NPT productions, and the individuals nominated, follows. The awards will be announced at the renovated Schermerhorn Symphony Center on January 29, 2011.
