One of our favorite events, the Southern Festival of Books returns to Nashville this year at the War Memorial Plaza on October 10-12. This year, festivalgoers will have a unique opportunity to dine with some of the event’s renowned authors at the “Authors in the Round” — it IS Nashville after all — benefit dinner and gala on Friday, October 10th. Over 40 authors will be attending and will sit at each table with the attendees, including Darrell Arnoult, Madison Smartt Bell, Rick Bragg, Clyde Edgerton, Justin Evans, Beth Ann Fennelly, Robert Hicks, David Maraniss, Brenda Vantrease and Frank Durham.. More to be announced soon. The dinner will be hosted by our own John Seigenthaler, host of NPT’s A Word on Words.
