Sheryl Crow Soundstage Performance Comes to DVD

Soundstage, which airs on NPT and PBS stations nationwide, is one of the best sounding and looking music performance shows on television. But unless you’re Tivo’ing or DVR’ing, these shows have never been available outside of the broadcast.

Now, Starpulse reports on the release of Soundstage on high definition DVD for the very first time, with Sheryl Crow: Live. The complete hour-long “Soundstage” episode, which first aired in June 2004, will arrive on July 8 as a single DVD. Shot in high-definition and mixed in 5.1 surround sound, the concert includes many of Crow’s biggest hits, as well as a rare cover version of the Nick Lowe classic “(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love And Understanding.”
