Thanks to conservation efforts of neighboring Warner State Park, Cheekwood remains one of the few examples of American Country Place Era estates that still retains its historical vistas as they looked in the in the early 20th century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Cheekwood estate has been opened to the public as a historic home, now museum, botanical garden and art center since 1960. Today visitors may tour the historical home, view its art collection and changing exhibitions, and roam the 55 acres of its grounds.
