Podcast Exclusive: Bill Ivey on Arts Inc.

It was announced last week that Nashville’s Bill Ivey, director of the Curb Center for Art, Enterprise, and Public Policy at Vanderbilt University, has been tapped for President-elect Barack Obama‘s transition team for arts and culture. Ivey has had a long successful career as as folklorist, musicologist and champion of the arts. He was the director of the Country Music Foundation from 1971 to 1998 before being named chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts from 1998 through 2001 during the Clinton Administration.
